Being a military veteran of the South African bush war and a retiring member of the South African Police Service as well as a MOTH member, the support, assistance and welfare of veterans is close to my heart. The Comrades Marathon was started as a living memorial to veterans and so to honour that and help my fellow veterans who can't do it, I want to run in aid of the MOTH and while the Comrades is hard, war and living with the long term effects thereof is harder. So please support us to remember those who gave their all, and those who gave some, but still live with the cost.
