Running for charity is one of the reasons I’m returning to Comrades after my debut last year. As a medical doctor, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children fighting cancer, and I’ve seen that they need more than just medical treatment — they need emotional, social, and practical support.

That’s where CHOC plays a vital role, supporting both the children and their families through incredibly difficult journeys.

Running for CHOC gives me the opportunity to be part of that support system. Every kilometre I run in training and on race day is dedicated to helping these children keep fighting and move closer to victory against cancer.
