Comrades Marathon 2026

My dad and I have decided to run the Comrades Marathon to raise funds for the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust, in memory of my uncle, George.

This is a cause that’s really close to our hearts. George lived with HIV and passed away in 2011. It really showed us how important compassion, support and access to care are.

HACT does amazing work in our community, supporting people living with HIV through testing, treatment, education and upliftment programmes that give people dignity and hope.

So this run is for George, and for so many others who deserve the chance to live a healthier, supported life.
