Comrades Marathon 2026

This year I’m running the Comrades Marathon not just for the challenge but for something far deeper and more personal.

I’m running in memory of my son Stelio.
He is my reason, my strength and the fire behind every step I take.

Through this journey, I’m raising funds for CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa an organisation that supports children and families facing one of life’s toughest battles cancer.

I know firsthand the emotional, physical and mental toll this journey takes. It’s not just the child who fights it’s the entire family. CHOC walks alongside these families, providing vital support like accommodation near hospitals, emotional care and nutritional assistance, so that no one has to face this alone.

Every kilometer I run is for Stelio.
Every donation is a step toward helping another family feel supported, seen and cared for during their darkest moments.
