Join Me in the Fight Against Childhood Cancer - In February 2018, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. After six chemo treatments, I am grateful to say that by September of the same year, she was cancer-free. When she received the great news, I decided to focus on my running and prepare for my first Comrades. I am proud to say that I completed my first Comrades in 2022! On January 3rd, 2025, I lost my beloved uncle to cancer, and I have many dear friends who are still bravely battling this relentless disease. Their courage and resilience inspires me every day. In honour of my uncle, I want to dedicate my 4th Comrades to him by supporting all those affected by cancer. I am raising funds for the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC), a non-profit organization that advocates for the health and well-being of children and teenagers diagnosed with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders and their families. CHOC aims to save lives through early detection and comprehensive support programs for families affected by cancer. Let's invest in our future and save lives through early detection.
