Personal Message:
While we’re fortunate to enjoy so much in South Africa—beautiful landscapes, vibrant communities, and the freedom to run—many people still face life-threatening illnesses without access to proper hospice care. Due to a lack of resources or available facilities, far too many go without the support they deserve in their most vulnerable moments. This year, I’m once again running the Comrades Marathon to raise funds for the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT)—an official Comrades charity. HACT operates Othandweni, meaning “Place of Love” in isiZulu, a 24-bed in-patient hospice and palliative care unit located right on the Comrades route in Hillcrest. If you'd like to support my run and help keep this vital service open, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide dignity and care when it’s needed most. Thank you for your generosity and support.
