Personal Message:

As we look at the 2025 Comrades slogan, ‘More than a race’, I can testify that it indeed is, especially after running Comrades last year for the first time.. I choose to run for the CHOC charity again.. It is clearly visible how many people (myself included) and lives are impacted by the Comrades race and charities.. One of my highlights during Comrades 2024 was running past the children of the Ethembeni Special School.. I was sobbing, but immensely impacted and inspired by them.. My motto for 2025 is: ‘I don’t have to, I get to’..
