Personal Message:

I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 2014 and underwent Surgery and Chemotherapy. I have recently crossed the 10 year mark post diagnosis. I started recreational running in 2014 after recovering from surgery and treatment. I started with Park Runs and have now recently completed my first marathon. I have been fortunate thus far and would like to use my first Comrades Marathon as a beacon in my life’s journey. Contributing to a Cancer cause appears a most fitting tribute.
