Hello world! A dream come true!! I have entered Comrades DOWN Run 2025 as a novice.. God Willing I will be running on 8 June 2025 with 23000 other comrades athletes. I may be just an ordinary Paediatrician /working mommy, wife and an average runner with a dream..but I would like to make an EXTRAORDINARY difference in children's lives, making THEIR dreams come true, even if its in some small way. By supporting CHOC as a charity for Comrades YOU can help me raise awareness and much needed support for children suffering from cancer. CHOC helps support children with cancer and their families in amazing ways, please check out their website: https://choc.org.za Over the years I have seen many young kids diagnosed with cancer or some other rare disease. Some survive and some not. Some coming from far, from the "platteland". Let us take hands and help them on their journey through illness, time away from home, school and family and all the challenges that brings.
