Running my Back-to-Back Comrades Marathon is more than just a race for me—it's a mission. My commitment to raising funds for CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation) is deeply personal. Over two decades ago, I began supporting cancer awareness and early detection through CANSA. Two years ago, we lost my sister to cancer, turning my passion for this cause into a relentless drive. This journey is about making every step count—not just for my own endurance, but for the children and families fighting cancer. Running the world’s most infamous ultra-marathon is a challenge, but it pales compared to the battles faced by those affected. I have a saying "Do what you can, with what you have", meaning I can use my ability to run—to make a tangible impact. Please support my journey and together, let's give hope, raise awareness, and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Please note that ALL funds raised go directly to CHOC!!!
