Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC)

Personal Message:

South Africa was my home for most of my life, and I now live in Canada. As I return home in June to attempt the biggest, scariest challenge of my life, I also want to give something back to the country that gave so much to me. I have chosen the childhood cancer foundation because I have lost loved ones to cancer and cannot imagine how difficult it is for ones child to go through a cancer journey. I have run up to 61km (in my profile photo) in a backyard ultra and know that to complete the additional 30km of the Comrades distance I will have to endure much pain and suffering. I hope to find meaning in this journey of intentional suffering.
