I'm a cancer survivor who got cancer mid 2013, and underwent 2 1/2 years chemo. I''m blessed to say that I'm in remission. At the end of 2017, I started running for the first time, and in 2018 I ran my first Comrades Marathon. This year I will be running my 5th Comrades marathon, and have decided to run it for 2 very dear friends who have recently been diagnosed with cancer, and who are busy fighting chronic cancer and undergoing treatment presently. I have chosen HACT as a charity, as I've witnessed the work that they do and it has touched me very deeply. I would appreciate any donations to HACT as I run my 5th Comrades in support of my 2 dear friends, 1 fighting Cervical cancer and 1 fighting Pancreatic Cancer now. May you all be Blessed. Thank you.
