Personal Message:

In 2018 my mother lost her battle with HIV/AIDS. For 17 years she had lived with the virus. Even though I was not infected I was affected. To show her that she was not alone I decided to run ultra Marathons. The comrades gave me a new challenge and like in 2022 I am running Comrades to celebrate her life and raise funds for those at Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust, in the hope that one day we will all be able to eradicate this disease.
