🏃‍♂️ Running for Kids: Beating Cancer, Inspiring Hope In January 2019, at the age of 50, I started running for the first time in over 30 years, unknowingly setting the stage for a lifeline during an unexpected storm. Amidst the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, July 2020 brought a devastating diagnosis—stage 4 colon cancer spreading to my liver. Surgery and chemotherapy followed, guided by faith, family, and medical support. By January 2022, victory emerged—I stood in remission, a testament to the Grace of God and dedicated medical professionals. This triumph fuels my desire to make a difference. Now, gearing up for my first Comrades Marathon, I'm dedicating it to children battling cancer. My goal is to raise R10,000, supporting these brave young souls and their families. Join me on this journey. Together, we can ensure these children have a chance to triumph over cancer. Your contribution, big or small, is a step towards brighter, healthier futures. Thank you for considering this noble cause. God bless, Denzil
